The month of Hajj is considered very important for Muslims. In this month the Muslims give sacrifice, which is also known as Qurbani of animals in the name of Allah in order to show their love towards him and they greet their Muslim brothers. The month of “Hajj” (Pilgrimage) is the last sacred month and has great importance in the Islamic lunar calendar. It is also known as the fifth pillar of Islam. Muslims offer pilgrimage (Hajj) and give sacrifice (Qurbani) of animals (cow, sheep goat and camels) in order to follow the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) mutually these two religious duties are offered in the First Ashra of this holy month. It is known as the occasion or event on which all the Muslims of the world unite. They wear same piece of clothe known as Ihram whether a person is rich or poor, black or white, he has to wear Ihram, that’s why it’s known as the platform on which all the Muslims of the world unite, and bow their heads in front of Allah in Makkah-al-Mukarramah because this religious obligation is performed in this holy city.
